Worse, as people wrote they would just use it to make a beeline for certain areas which leads to increased and unhealthy hotspotting.
Wild animals growing up, roaming around and learning their surroundings over wild animals gaining complete knowledge of the whole island in an instant without lifting a toe. I can't say much about humans but I hope they don't get too much for free either.
This makes sense. Even Ark, though giving a map, only reveals that map as you explore, as if you were drawing it out like a explorer.
