How do I switch dinos

Picked the starting herbivore on a map and want to try the carnivores. Whenever I log in though I keep spawning as that herbivore. How do I switch dinos?

Kill the dino you are playing as.

How would I do that? Just wait out the timers?

To kill yourself, you can try running off cliff, or find other dinosaurs and have them kill you.

if you are playing on a sandbox server, you can just wait for the timer on the "Respawn" button to go down and then pick your choosing.

However, if you are playing on progression, you would have to do as stated above and get your dinosaur killed somehow.

or you can starve and thirst yourself but that can take a while, you are best off falling from a height, or finding a predator and 'accidentally' get killed by it.
