Which dinosaurs can out run a dilo and carno?

Playing as dilo almost getting to carno, i really in need of food/water but i keep hearing allosaurus and gigas nearby , so i just keep hidding like a scared kitten hoping they go away lol cause i think i cant out run these dinos.

Could someone plz tell me which dinosaurs are faster than dilo and carno? since i'm almost evolving to carno and plan to play in plain sight style with him. Also, who does carno progress to?

I wouldn't reccomend playing a "plain in sight" style anyhow, unless you're looking to pick a fight or are just really confident that you can pull that off. Thats pretty much living on the edge, which can get you spotted and killed, unless you're talking about being nomadic and constantly moving.

Anyways, an ambushing giga within striking range could outrun a carno (as with any dinosaur within ambushing distance),. aside from those i think carno is pretty solid on outrunning most animals. in-game.

I'm not too sure with Dilo. It's quick for sure but it doesnt seem too much like an incredibly runner anyways. more like a forest hunter rather than a plains stalker, like using quick ambush speeds to hunt. so i dont think dilo can outrun predators like allosaurus or acrocanthrosaurus, but you'd might want to keep searching for more concrete answers.

Iirc, Dilo is slower than Allo but has more stamina.

depending on what age you are as a carno will probably affect if they can get you. If you are an adault though you can out run anything besides galli. Carno is fastest carnivore in game right now and galli is fastest herbivore. Curtain carnivores can catch up to carno if they have a crouch boost. I'm not sure what all is faster than dilo though. If the carno has a crouch boost though it has a higher chance of out running the preditore. Just make sure to save your stam as much as possibale. I believe apexes are faster than dilo though.

if the blueprints in game are accurate, the Utah is far faster than the Carno at 1350.

pretty sure utah is still the fastest carni though it has less stam than a carno

Allo can catch a dilo with and without ambush speed so stay away from them, I'm sure its the same with carno. Also stay away from allos as well when playing as carno because if they manage to ambush you, two bites will be enough to bleed you out. (even faster if your trying to run away) Giga is deadly as well but has very crappy stamina so if your far enough away from one it shouldnt be much of a threat.

Also two bites from a dilo to a utah should be enough to kill one if you keep it on the move.

Thank you a lot for this. I was messing around with an allo today (i'm carno now :D) exposing myself to him, thinking i would be able to out run him. Thank god he didnt give a crap though. He just standed there looking at me and didnt do anything. lol. Now i'm going to be more careful thanks to you.
