Nesting

Just wanted to know some stuff about nesting. Ok so first thing is if I build a nest and die will I spawn there as a baby of the last dino I was? I thought I read that somewhere but wasn't sure. Next thing is if I give the nest food can the baby eat the food in the nest? I think thats about all, thanks!

Nesting is pretty simple. You give food to the nest, if it has sufficient food it will make an egg every 15 minutes. When there is an egg, you can invite someone to the nest, and they will spawn in as a baby of your species. They are essentially helpless for about 2 hours as of right now I think, and it's your job to keep them alive.

That's nesting in its entirety as of now.

In the future, raising a baby to self sufficiency will give you a big heaping pile of progression points.

You need a male and female dino of the same species together to make a nest. Currently I think the dilo and maybe cerato are the only ones that can not make nest but don't quote me on that

oh so thats why i cant nest as a dilo

Dilos & Ceratos can make a nest once full grown and you have to be a female to drop it. Unless that has changed in this most recent patch. As far as the hatchlings eating from it.... Couldnt tell you whenever i have hatched in a nest i have never been able to eat from it.
