How do you find your way around the map?

Having absoutely no fun playing this game. Its just boring, running aimlessly in any direction. How do I find my way around and where are popular spots?

You can find coordiants by pressing the INS key. And, you can use maps to locate the lakes, using coordiants.
Some popular spots are -400, 100 or -50, 50 (Only for v3 map) or -450, 50 (For the v4 map) If you want to go to other popular spots aside from these, there are pleanty of good maps and guides in the artwork section or guide section.

You can search the community guides. Some of them have maps for V3. For V4, Im not sure.

To explain further what the coord numbers you actually need to look at are, here they are;

(XXX),XXX.XXX,(YYY),YYY.YYY

Those are the ones you need to look at to know the coordinate relative to where a location is or any location a player may designate.

So the 1st and 4th set of 3 digits are all that matter in general gameplay
