Kos vs kfs, time for a new term.

Ok, so kos is a widely used, commonly known acronym across pretty much every multiplayer game that exists, and stands for: kill on sight, originally, when this game was in sandbox, yes, it was an issue, however not anymore. Reason being, since the game is now survival/progression, it is almost necessary, to kill on sight, if your a carnivore, and you're close to starving, the first thing you see that you can kill, is going to be your next meal, now, kfs, is a similar term, meaning: kill for sport, which I personally do not think should be tolerated. So instead of using kos, maybe say kfs, because not only is it more appropriate to the type of gamemode we all currently play, but it is also a more accurate and well-defined term, whereas kos, can be very vague, and mean alot of things.

It's a simple idea, and can help admins of different servers ALOT with ascertaining situations that happen that can be classified under both terms, but kfs is just more accurate

KOS is already used primarily in the context of people killing whatever they see for no reason. In my experience people rarely use it to include people who simply need to eat. Hence terms like KOS Shant.

Why is there a new thread about this? Why are people so obsessed with labeling it as "KOS" or "KFS"?
At this point everyone knows what people are referring to when someone mentions any of those terms.

Nah, jk. How the hell is saying ''KFS'' over ''KOS'' anything that matters? I'm pretty sure KOS has devolved into a way of saying ''killing when they shouldn't'' instead of the words that make it anyway.

Basically what I'm saying, is kos just doesn't happen anymore, if it does, very little, it is so rare to see someone actually kos now, that kfs is just less confusing, and is easier for admins to understand when enforcing rules, and some people still don't understand the meaning of kos

Threads like this contribute to absolutely nothing. It doesn't matter what you want to call something, people will play the game as they choose to. Instead of creating threads to debate the label of a persons playstyle I suggest making threads on more relevant topics.
