Septic bite possible?
What do you guys think? If ut can happen ability how do think it should be balance?

No because some will just use "All carnivores had a septic bite." argument.

And discussions of balance is just overall a subject to be avoid until further development happens.

Disease from injury with long lasting effects - sure. A specific mechanic for septic bites - no.

Reason being is that the first option makes the second redundent.

I hadn't put much thought into it, maybe have it lower the max stamina of the victim by a heavy but not game breaking amount. For 12 ingame hours maybe. Resting could shorten the duration.

Dondi has previously stated that infection and disease will not be in the game because it cannot be countered. I think septic bites fall under that. Furthermore, trying to create a mechanic like that would be questionable at best, as most of the 'popular' examples used to argue for a septic bite aren't actually septic at all. They're venomous. And venom IS a planned mechanic for one as of yet unreleased carnivore tree, of which Dilophosaurus is a part. It's unknown whether Dondi is considering scrapping it for time constraints though, as we haven't heard any news about it in a long time.
