Asura - A No rules server with full discord support.

What is Asura?

Asura is a community formed back in early 2019. We're mostly known for hosting our no game-play rules server, which since then has evolved into 4 filled Isle servers (2x Isle v3, 1x Thenyaw, 1x Deathmatch) and a full DoD Server.

Since the beginning we've grown a lot - and we were one of the first servers, if not - the first - to adapt into having automated dinosaurs on our Discord by our own developed bot.

Also we were lucky enough a couple of months ago to have a Hypo Carno tournament, where the developers of The Isle went to help us out by providing Hypos for USERS to play on. Even these days, you might find a Hypo running around or a Quetz roaming the skies, as Devs are not a uncommon sight on Asura.

Today we're closing up on 10.000 Discord members, which is a big milestone for us. But it doesn't stop there - we strive each day to be the place where the community wants to play and hang out.

We welcome people to play on Asura - even though we are no game-play rules, we still push hard to maintain a good tone and ethics on our servers. We do enforce certain chat rules in place, to ensure everyone has a good time.

It happens that people breach it, and we do deal with those.

We understand people can have frustrations loosing their hard grown dinosaur, but please - keep it hostile in our chats.

How often do you guys host events?

Shortly said - at least once a week. During the last year or so, we've worked hard on having our players a way to enjoy Asura besides the usual "gameplay"

Our events can be anything from Tournaments, into Discounts or even free Dinosaurs. Our events gets streamed each week on our Twitch [Twitch.tv] - and later uploaded to our YouTube Channel

How do i request specific Dinosaurs?

During 2019, We've developed and set up our automated request/buy system.

This means that you at any day, any time - are able to request your favorite dinosaur to play through our systems. Besides that we allow for earning points on our Discord channel - those points are then used to buy full adult dinosaurs.

Full adult = Bought through Points
Sandbox Juvi = Requested for free

What does that mean?

You simply type in a command in our channel specific for request/buy & our Discord bot will send a call to our admin tool, and you'll have your dinosaur changed within seconds - automatically, no admins needed to manually change your files.

However, in the case something does go wrong - we always have admins around to make sure your points haven't been wasted.

Our system automatically check your available points, and withdraws the required amount.

Do donators have an advantage on your servers?

Technically, not really. People who donate earn passively a specific amount of points each 12-24 hours. (exact amount can be found in our #donations channel)

However our systems are set up in this place each dinosaur is divided out from a tier system, and when you buy an adult Tyrannosaurus for an example - our system will give you a related cooldown before you could buy a high tier dinosaur again.

Even though you might have this cooldown, you'd still be able to request a lower tier to play.

Server cooldowns are independent, if you buy on Server #1 - you can still buy on Server #2. Our third server (#3) is a non-buy server, which means it is grow & survive, for everyone.

Can i earn points to use on Dinosaurs - even if i don't donate?

Of course!

Our Discord has different type of daily use commands, games you can play etc for you to increase your points.

These points can be used to buy an adult dinosaur, in the case you are too lazy to grow it yourself!

You'll get this from playing on Asura

Good morning, I know it is unlikely this will be seen here but I woke up and was banned from the discord? Not sure what I've done considering I was asleep. If any active admin on the discord could get back to me that would be wonderful!

If its a new discord, it most likely has autobanned you. If you have your ID i can help you out!

The server is a real piece of ♥♥♥♥! I was banned from the discord for no reason, I didn't even write in the chat and I already got banned. The administration just bans players and that's it
