Desalinization plant.

Have clicked all over may and now where I can find will allow me to build a desalinization plant. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Start your game in default sector and see if that helps.

The desalinization plant can only be built on specific ocean coastal sites just like mines. If you turn the filters on on the mini map, it'll show you all of those sites as little colored dots. I find it sometimes helpful to click the filter off and on because sometimes they're hard to see. Usually you can actually click on the site and it'll give you the option of building something right from there.

Just as TazmanianD suggested, Desalination Plant can only be built in fixed locations and filters will allow you to find where these are.
