Save game

I can not save my game as when I try to exit game nothing happens, this is the second time its happened now :(

it's autosave now as far as i can tell... no more manual managing of save games. you'll enter back in game to resume where you left off.

I get that but it wont let me exit, I click exit and click yes and nothing happens, I lost 6hrs of game play the first time around and after that I exited every hour just in case it happened again which I had no problem, now ive got carried away and not exited (saved) in about 5 hours and when I do try to exit game now nothing happens, so the game will not save and I dont want to force close it because it will not save again

Ive noticed that when I have this issue and I go to the space station tile the "wifi" symbol is not lit up green and under the world market tile it says that "connection not estabished you are offline"

The game will save:

1. Every time you change sessions.
2. If you leave the game or session.
3. Manually after 5 minutes IF the optioned is enabled.
4. For those that want to back up your saves manually - please go to following folder: C:\Program Files(x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\savegames\[accountid]\1253

As i say on another post that diseaper to fast cause of all these stupid crying baby post :

One more time, can't leave the game.
Tryed to create a new corp(game is supposed to save when changing corp like you said), new corp create ok, switching 2 times to be sure to save, killing process, relaunch the game... All my session is lost, and the new corp disappeared...
Again 4H of game lost, and autosave feature(enabled) not work.
Bored of this game, 8H of game lost in 2 days, so it's impossible to finish the game without letting it run, and i need my computer for other things!

Edit : As i see on other post, it's always after some hours of playing that savegames bug(but autosave not work at all). Is it to punish us to not listen the off-voice that say us to take a break after 2 hours? ;p

Edit 2 : Note that i don't have id "1253" in my savegame folder, i suppose it's the 2052 cause timetags of files in this folder match!

Pas besoin d'éteindre l'ordi pour ça, le gestionnaire de tâche est la pour ça(CTRL+SHIFT+ESC ou CTRL+ALT+DEL), ensuite tuer le processus "anno2205.exe", mais tu perdra quand même toute ta session de jeu.

Acording to a email I got from Ubisoft support today they are aware of the problem,all of the above doesn't work for me after a certain point of time for whatever reason

I hope there will be a fix soon, till that i don't play this game... so many games to play to loose time on a game that not have savegame(and I'm too addicted when i play to leave game every hours).

I also suffer from this bug. Managed to get my corp level to 25, then couldn't exit the game. Next time I started the game I was back at corp level 12 and lost all progress I made in the previous session. Strange this is not among the known issues.

I tried the game again and got the same issue later on and havnt played it since, got bored of repeating myself each time I play.
I did notice this happens once the "wifi" symbol is not green anymore on the space station tile but it still says your connected thou.

Try disabling your AV temporarily and see if it makes a difference? If it does, make an exception for Anno 2205 in the AV program.

See if cloud saves are enabled in the Uplay app?

3 years no fix :( enjoy playing this game and would buy DLC if only i could save my game...
