Questions about buildings!
Is there any way to show a zone of effect around buildings? Mainly buildings that do happiness?

Also any one figure out a good setup for housing in the artic yet and are willing to share?

Don't believe there's a happiness thing, at least as far as I've encountered. Only zone of effect I've found so far is the heat radius from your factories that are the only places you can put houses in one of the areas in the game. That and wind turbine efficiency.

There is a zone of effect on Community Centers and Information centers, but you'll normally get an icon from buildings out of reach.

Interesting thing to do. Build a factory near a Transport Center, check the Logistics cost, move it further away and check again. The cost goes up quickly. Got to place those transport hubs carefully

You know, that was something I kind of suspected in the back of my thoughts while playing, but nice to have it confirmed.

I don't really get how the zone of effect works with community centers. I think there is a limit of houses it can provide or something. I had one in the center of my colony and on both sides there were houses missing community. I build one center on the left side of the city and the right side was suddenly supplied by community, too. So it seems not to be a matter of distance.

In the ubi twitch stream of 2nd november they said, these buildings work similar to logistik. They don't have a fixed radius as in previous games and can support anywhere on the map, but are more efficient if placed close by.

Thanks. Efficiency seems to depend on path-length to the building by road. I just moved some houses to add another crossroad - voila, fewer houses with demand-icons over them.
