How to activate weather settings?

I can't seem to find how to modify the weather settings that I have unlocked, like the "rough weather" and "turbulent weather"... Anyone know how to use those?

I think you have to do it in the artic sector where you repaired the weather machine, and like the fireworks statue the controls are there at the weather machine

That sucks.... :( would have wanted it for other sectors... lol

The weather settings are global for all Earth sectors. But you control it via the weather control station in the artic sector.

I made the mistake of setting it to "turbulent weather" and then went into the artic conflict sector. I could not see any of the enemy ships.

Haha thats so funny - it didnt realise it affected those areas too...
