Get Rid of Global Market?
Today i started Anno 2205 just to see that my income balance was -593.789$! The first thing i as an normal human was panic!
I searched about 30 mins just to see that the worldmarktet prices increased enough to completly ♥♥♥♥ my 800.000 employee savegame!

Is there any possibility to play offline to disable the global market?

I personally haven't sold on the world market.... Unless you're selling top tier items, it's usually not worth it because the transport costs are too expensive. What I usually do is buy low tier items from the market and downsizing my production lines for those...

I've noticed a lot of people panicking over how their finances got screwed over with the global market patch. IMO the global market isn't broken, its reflecting what happens when demand far outstrips supply. A product of thousands of people taking advantage of how weak and exploitative the original global market is, just buying everything and not selling anything.

The good news is they helped me pay for my expansion into WIldwater Bay and a third site on the moon XD

Seriously, the selling price for zero-g compensators skyrocketed soon after that patch.
Just make an unlimited resource AI controlled market and this game has at least the city building aspect of Anno! ^^

And btw thank you!
Because of people like you i can't afford all my maps and i lost 10 million what ever the anno currency is? ^^

I see that Tundra Goods are not on the global market yet, I cannot even sell any cause the price is 0 credits. Which may mean there is no amount been sold by players yet.

Makes me wonder how the prices are determined. I would assume starting from the production price and also that the Global market have a storage limit. Price get lowered when the storage for that particular good is almost full, then when it is near empty the price skyrockets. Only a speculation though.

I was sure that Blue Byte stated that market prices are determined by differences in supply and demand among the playerbase. It works by good old supply and demand. (perhaps using a similar counter Anno 2070 used to display global resource statistics to gather the data). I like the system personally, as it gives the game a sort of dynamism which it probably needs.

@Ekrexer: Don't blame us, the prices went up because thousands were buying and few were selling. I was a seller.

One of my corp is earning 421K on IntelliWear, selling the max volume of 500. Probably a waste because my account balance is maxed. We need more credit sink i think. Bet the orbital station will cost alot to maintain.

I assume you can tell what most players are buying if the buying price far exceeds the production price by a huge margin.
