Tundra DLC won't start
can't start game since Patch/DLC anybody knows what happens?

Ya for what for no one kow how ficxed???? 2 man im have talk in chat no one know how fix so im ask i need support for what???

first you only have one key is gold season pass not in another games you have key for season pass and key for game no one know why anno 2205 make this in support 2 dlc no work no one know why ask me for add key season pass im tell im only have one damm key no one know why so support dont know nothing so i ask again i need spport for what???

you ppl ask about 60+ euros in each game and after you dont know support ppl im start get bored unisoft man

At least you guys with the problem are getting an error message, my game just crashes when it gets to the Main Menu, no message or anything else just CTD. I have the Season Pass.

I do see some sort of a banner across the screen before it crashes, something about a startup corporation Orion something?? (too fast to catch).

Here is a solution which helped me:

The Game needs a connection to the internet: make sure your firewall allows TCP Connections from Anno2205.exe Ubisoftgamelauncher64.exe and UplayService.exe

You might deactivate your firewall at the first start

Can it be that you have or had Ad-Aware installed? The main menu crash seems to be related to that. Ad-Aware installs another program that causes problems with several games. I uninstalled the Ad-Aware Web Companion and now it doesn't crash anymore.

same here tundra wont start.


LOL stupid me.
I activate the season pass on Uplay.
Now it works.

To activate Tundra just copy the Steam key and insert the key in uplay product activation!

Same problem here. Game updated but no idea what with, I have the full season pass, season pass details lists The Tundra DLC as included but its not showing up as downloaded. as a sidenote to this, any news feeds related to this game wont display, instead I get "resource not found" don't know if its possibly connected.
I suspect that the game is naffed up until the DLC shows up as installed


Launch the game, click on "redeem code", bottom left, and manually enter your season pass CD key.

Seems that the u-play integration doesn't actually do this for you.

Ubisoft and poorly thought through implementations. Who'd have thunk it?


Cant actually launch the game, I click play as normal, it begins to load then load ends and an error message as in previous reply to this post is displayed, you click the link in that error message and it takes you to Ubisofts support page, I filled that in yesterday, am waiting for a reply now.
I have activated the game in the Uplay client, and that client acknowledges that the game and the season pass is activated.

Thanks for the help, much appreciated. I checked everything mentioned here (AdAware not installed & key activated on Uplay and firewall settings okay) and still the same problem, crash at main menu. I will post a support request with Ubisoft and see what they can come up with.

Same here after Update from 29 of February :-/

Oki found the solution for the error if u use Bitdefender.
First make sure that in your ransomware protection anno 2205 is trusted.
Second go to your firewall module and create a new exception for anno 2205
Third deactivae the firewall module.
Fourth start anno 2205. wait until it loaded.
Fifth quit anno2205 and reactivate your firewall.
Now Anno can be started without the firewall deactivation

I have added the TCP ports for the firewall, outbound only (have BitDefender):

TCP ports for anno 2205 : 80, 3074

TCP ports for Ubisoft game launcher: 80, 13000, 13005, 13200-13999.

Now the game runs for me. I also only have the steam gold edition cd key (no other cd keys), but that didn't seem to be the problem for being unable to launch the game or accessing the Tundra sector (I got in just fine). Hope this helps.

This seems to be my problem as well. In Bitdefender 2016 how do I add these TCP ports to my firewall? I am quite bad at port forwarding/connection related settings.

At the top of these forums is a pinned post describing a fix for Bitdefender related to this error, follow it but also change your games compatability to windows 7, its how I got mine to work

Kudos to you. Had another firewall but disabling it for the first launch helped. Too bad Ubi CM's can't tell us about retarted DRM which requires something apart from the game and uplay to be allowed in firewall to work.
