Anyone know specifics on how to hit and surpass the 75% industry dominance?

For example, I own 80% of the shares for Lei Sheng but energy dominance is only at 59%.

The brief tooltip says I need to build the corresponding facilities but is it based on # of corresponding facilities or based on the goods they produce? Or is it variety?

You may own 80% of the shares but they're not the only company that owns part of the industry. All you can really do is buy 100% of their company and 100% of your own. And keep buying from whoever has the largest share of the market.

followup question: I havent played in a long time because I wanna start my second game with all the dlc, but I see that when you start a new corporation, you have the possibility to turn on industry dominance from the start?

What exactly does it do, and does it affect veteran status (going for some achievements)?

Once you get more than 75% in an industry you can build limitless amounts of the branded modules.

And you can't get it until you join the stock martket of course.

In the new game I turned on that domination, played a little and deleted the game, after some time I decided to install it and play again. As it turns out, the module limit has appeared again(not limitless)... how can I turn on domination now? Maybe rewrite something in the game's files?
