Transfer save games?

Is it possible to grab a save from someone else?
I saw someones city on a YT video and I really want to use it for reference for building mine.

If they were to provide me with their savegame, can I download it plop it in the folder and start it up?

Hey! I've done my best to look into this for you however I've been unable to get a definite answer.

I believe it will work but I can't say for sure. There is no harm in trying, but make sure to back that folder up first in case it does not work.
