Competitors cheating?

I cant get over my competitors. When I dont level up, working on sector projects, small quests, they stay the same level too. But when I start leveling up, they always get "instalevelup". No matter how fast I get another company level, they still keep at least +1 level above me, thus blocking me from buying their sectors. Somtimes they even jump 4 levels in few minutes. How am I supposed to beat them, when the game is cheating this way? Any solution?

Hey, what level are you? At certain points, you'll surpass them like no other! For example right now, I'm rank 1 - and ahead of them by four levels. :). Early in the game your rankings will be low, and you will notice what you have, but once you've hit around the 200K mark of employees, you'll surpass them. I'm currently over 300K employees.

Hi. Thanks for answer. In my first game, I got to level 16 without care what level I am. Just enjoying building and exploring game, fulfiling quests and projects. Then I decided to surpass them from rank 5/6. I stopped playing, when my level was 27 still at rank 5/6. Other companies were 17,27,29,29,30. In my current game, I am more lucky, i managed to 3/6, but the first two companites keep more levels above me. When I get close to one or two levels, they instajump four levels up. We are now 13,19,23,24 (me), 28,33.

Once you start buying their stocks they stop surpassing you. I think I was 1/6 by like level 40 or so after buying a few stocks from a couple of them.
