Splitscreen Coop Online???

Is it possible to play splitscreen online. So that me and a buddy could go couch-coop, but battle it out online with others???

Not that I know.
The nice coop modes like splitscreen, Stunt or double driver are only local play features.
For online play they are not available unfortunately.
