Basically (in the advanced mode) you have to remember where each block is if you don't want to search every time.. In addition, there isn't any "bar" with block icons.. you have to press a button or right click every time you want to change a block; you have to "double click' in order to place a block and finally, you have a limited number of placeable blocks (I didn't pay much attention about values.. I'll check later)
Going straight to the point, IN MY OPINION,
TM united's editor 9/10
TM turbo's editor 1/10
It feels like this game was made for consol. The editor is nothing like the one from TMNF. The UI has changed and has not become more user friendly imo.
I havent played TMNF in ages. Like 3years or so. But i spent more time building tracks than actually driving. I am so dissapointed in the editor, its clunky and definetly not for mouse and keyborad built.
EDIT: I didnt saw that you can actually change editor style, thx ChillPlayer. And the classic one is exaclty like the one from TMNF fortunatly. New one sucks balls, classic one is alright. I play mouse+keyboard.
the game has been made for consolles! the pc version is a ported one
But, as I said, first impression. Maybe you get used to it, though I doubt it. I fear it will always feel awkward compared to the previous editors we were given.
