car automatically accelerates and brakes at once

Hi,

Couldn't find anybody writing about the same issue on the Steam forum. Sorry if I missed it.

Just bought the game, tried to drive on the first track, but my car's constantly accelerating and braking all at once, which makes the game unplayable atm. Found other players talking about the same issue on other forums and the only advice I could find, was to unplug every other device from your computer except the one you'd like to use (mouse, controllers,...). This isn't an option, so I just wanted to ask if there's anyone experiencing the same issue and if there's a solution out there.

Yeah, same here and for me I had to actually UNINSTALL a Wireless Gamepad that was being recognized. I think it was from my DS4, which I wasn't using. Also, I found if you use a Steam Controller and make ANY changes to the controller (like trying to use Gyro steering) the game will crash to desktop.

So, I'm able to play as long as I only have ONE controller showing up on my PC (have to verify in Device Manager). It's kind of a sad mess right now. I just can't believe a franchise like Trackmania somehow ended up giving us a lazy console port.

Yea, it's a pretty mess right now for some players with different bugs. That's what happens when big groups buy smaller game companies and use their unproductive marketing methods to release games. Nadeo never had bigger bug related issues in their previous games as far as I remember.

In the meanwhile I'll try to disable other controllers in the device manager like you said. Thx!

UBISOFT охрененно налажал с этим. я думал подключить джойстик от playstation 4 и играть. но нет же! задние курки посылают постояннот сигнал, и тупая трекмания думает что зажаты газ и тормоз одновременно!

For DS4 I use DS4Windows program. I played a bit with it like that.

Same issue here. I have a keyboard, mouse, xbox controller and razer orbweaver.

Seems like unplugging the orbweaver fixed it. Unacceptable.

You have to disconnect all other Gamepads / Joysticks via device manager and then try again. Worked for me

Did I already mention how much I hate companies like UbiSoft and their purely money related business strategies? Prioritizing to reach their deadlines, rather than releasing flawless games like all game companies did years ago, before they realized how stupid people would be spending money on unfinished and/or mediocre games before release and doing it over and over again? Sorry, I'm done complaining for today... :-D

Hello all Together. i found out that u can go to Options if your Mouse hovers on top of the screen (ingame). Click on input. now u should see your devices and their assignments. Now u just have to clear the assignments of the other connected devices. U just need the Controler ones. And dont worry u can restore settings if u clear the false one.
