I would advise to perform a clean installation of the Ubisoft Connect Launcher. Please follow the following steps:
- Please exit Ubisoft-Connect completely.
- Move the "games" and "save games" folders from the Ubisoft-Connect installation directory so that you do not have to completely re-download the games again or so that you save games are not lost. You can find the folders by default under the following path:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Ubisoft\Ubisoft Game Launcher\.
- Uninstall Ubisoft-Connect from your Windows Control Panel.
- Please delete the remaining files in the Ubisoft-Connect installation directory
- Please delete the Ubisoft-Connect folder in the Windows "AppData" folder. By default, this folder can be found in the following directory:
C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\Ubisoft Game Launcher.
- Restart your computer
- Download the latest Uplay version: https://ubisoftconnect.com/en-GB
- Click on "Download Now
- Navigate to the download directory
- Right-click on the "UbisoftConnectInstaller.exe" and select "Run as administrator..." from the context menu.
- Complete the installation
- Move your saved "games" and "save games" folders back to the Uplay directory
- Log in with your Ubisoft account.
Also, we would ask you to note that such applications as Ubisoft Connect are always run as administrator. Here is a link how to do this:

Hope this helps! Please let us know if you have any further questions!

This works, thank you very much.
because Ubi thinks you don't own the game. DRM cancer.
