[BUG] Trackmania Turbo crash to desktop/freeze while loading maps EDIT :
Hi, i open this thread because of a problem I have :
I am able to launch TM, play the first race in carreer mode, but then when im loading the second one, the game crashes to desktop, wtihout any crash report.
The weird thing is that I can play races number 1,4, and 6 but not the other ones.
Is anybody experiencing the same issue ?
(please forgive my poor english, im french)

My spec. :
AMD II Dualcore M300 2ghz
RAM : 4go
Windows 7 64 bits SP1
ATI mobility radeon hd 5100 series

Have you tried veryfying the game files? Might be that a few files are corrupt and cause the crash.
Also when you say "First race" you mean Canyon?

Yes i tried verifying the game files, and nothing changes. And by first race I mean the first available in career mode, so yes its canyon (drift).

Maybe try is lowering the graphics ?
Other than that I am out of ideas :(

Already tried that, and anyway i play on low settings only, considering my bad spec.

Please try the newest patch, some information here: http://steamcommunity.com/app/375900/discussions/0/371918937263334810/
if it still does not help, there is also a debug version available.

Thanks for the tip, I tried with the newest patch. Probleme is still the same unfortunately. I'll wait for the official update and see what happens. Also, I can't find the debug version you're talking about, where can I download it ?

Sure, here it is:

a) open your game install folder
b) make a copy of the original TrackmaniaTurbo.exe
c) extract TrackmaniaTurbo.exe into the game folder
d) launch until a game crash
e) zip and copy your crash logs here (they will be placed in your Windows documents, Trackmania Turbo folder, either directly there or in subfolders logCrash and logGame).
(theses logs have more information)

thanks. It's a known issue with the weaker Radeon cards.
The game detects that the DX11 device stopped working, but before it can recover, the game crashes. I don't know when they will be able to fix it, let's see what the official patch brings next week.

Hi, i post again on this thread after the update.

My problem is still the same, TM doesn't work on some races, but now instead of a crash to deskop, all i get is a black screen with "DEVICE REMOVED", and then it quits the game.

someone experiencing the same issue ?

I have a similar issue. Even though I can play all the maps normally, I can only play one map per session. Whenever I try to play the second map the game crashes.
