Glossary?

Is there a way to get ahold of a glossary for all the parameters for editing instruments in a clip so I can know what I am changing? Some things are obvious, but others are much more subtle.

Here's a user manual, and I believe there is a button with a question mark in the UI you can press to enable tooltips.

Maybe I'm missing something. The manual just says what it already is. And the tutorial (the 10 minute one) he just shows what each function does. He doesn't break down the anatomical nitty-gritty of what each thing does so I can understand how I'm modifying the notes.
