Not sure I can be at all responsible for this at my end. It just keeps repeating with nothing being downloaded. What can I possibly do here at my end?

Deleted the software because it's so annoying.

No updates in a long time on my end.
Either your steam is having a problem with verifying the local files or that is just your save backing up on the cloud.
