Controller not working in Linux
Hi, I just got the game.

My controller, a Logitech F710, doesn't seem to be working. The options screen does list "Logitech Logitech Cordless Rumblepad 2", which is the same name the controller lists in lsusb.

Any possible things to try or testing that can be done? I'm realling depending on gamepad support for this game.

Please, try install this in console:

sudo apt-get install jstest-gtk
sudo apt-get install joystick

They're already installed.

Today I tried to resolve that problem on my system (Arch Linux i686) and seems like I found a solution. By default, Taimumari can recognize Logitech F310 (in Xinput mode), but ignored all controls from F310. So, for fixing that, just install and then add "xboxdrv" as daemon. For example I show how to install that package in Arch Linux:

For first, you need to type next command in your console. That command allow to install package from AUR repository:

yaourt -S xboxdrv

After installation type two commands in console (first one put service to autostart, second one launch service immediately)

systemctl enable xboxdrv.service
systemctl start xboxdrv.service

Voila! Now you can play Taimumari with your gamepad. Also this is work with any games which used GameMaker as engine.

Thank you, that seems to do the trick.

I'm on Linux Mint (should also work for Ubuntu), and simply installing xboxdrv from the repository was sufficient:

sudo aptitude install xboxdrv

I use windows as an OS and I had controller problems at first too, I verified the game files but that wasn't it. I use a playstation controller with scp toolkit as an interface, control issues cleared up when I re-installed scp software.
