Northern Rage Berserker Guide (Anomaly 300+)
I’ll attempt to make a guide for my berserker that I have been playing since the recent patch.
As the title suggests I have taken this build to anomaly 302 currently and it does not look like it is slowing down much if at all. First I will just list some pros and cons of this build.

Pros
+ White mobs instantly killed and most blue mobs instantly killed in anomaly
+ ALL mobs instantly killed in legendary mode
+ Endgame bosses killed in ~2 seconds
+ Most anomaly bosses are no problem
+ Fast anomaly clear speed
+ 1000% frost damage, 100% overpower, 95% critical chance, 275% critical damage, max resistances (even at anomaly 300+)

Cons
- Can instantly die to some mobs in anomaly ~250+
o Screaming Skulls prefix will kill you
o Combination of many mobs exploding on death/meteor shower prefix can also kill you
- Mana can be somewhat pesky to keep up, mostly from mana leech from mobs
- Anomaly boss Screamer (I think that is her name, the one with screaming skulls) will be very difficult to kill without dying, which would reset the anomaly
- Okay mobility (some gear effects can be re-rolled to have more movement speed however)
- Low health (-22k, 28k with buffs) but can also be re-rolled to have more health
- Gear is expensive to roll and hard to find

Now on to the build itself. The Northern Rage legendary gear set focuses on building rage very fast and buffing the rage release passive, which is the key to this build. The All for One true legendary gear set is also key as this is how you achieve +1000% element damage.
Rage release is your primary damage dealer; it will instantly kill everything unless you are in high anomaly levels. So rage generation is very important in this build. With my gear I have 530% rage generation, which procs rage release very often. The skill Glacier Roll is also very good at procing rage release. So I basically look like a walking AOE machine that deletes anything nearby. As to survivability, you will have no problem in legendary mode unless you afk. The main source of healing is the devour passive which grants 1500 health for every mob you gib (instantly kill). Luckily this build is extremely good at that, so you will either remain at max health or will be able to quickly heal to max. Below I will link pictures of my skills so you can see my build exactly.

Now on to my gear. I will link a picture of each piece of gear I have and give a brief description of what you should roll. I’ll also post some of my stats at the end as well as the mastery skills I have (mastery level 320). The Fleetriders are not necessary but are by far the best boots in the game for general use. The Mana Injector is also not necessary but it helps with mana problems.

Final Tips

The basic way to play this build is ultimate, roll, punch. Use your heritage skills when needed. Yeah, that’s it.
Reroll anomalies that are forests/caves.
Keep an eye out on your health as it dips and dives fast in high anomalies and look out for screaming skulls.

Here is a short video on the build: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GJX2TmZxxOs&t=5s

Great guide. I am new to the game, but not the genre. I originally played with fire and the Dragon Leap route up to 100 and did a few anonalies. I found this build and decided to go try the frost route. I have to say thay I enjoy the nado spawns and the simple, yet effective game style. I have found a few frost pieces, along with some true legendaries and have been rerolling stats which is quite addictive lol. Down the line I definitely want to try Lightning/phys and fire once again, but for now I focus on frost. Nonetheless, fun build and thanks for the in depth post.

Cheers!

Currently playing Dragmageddon with the Northern Rage set, coupled with Sun and Moon. The amount of Rage Release procs you get in the videos is basically a fart in the wind compared to what I'm getting in the current version of the game (0.65.1 beta).

It's possible to get 71 minimum Rage out of a maximum 76. With 500% rage generation anything that generates 1 rage triggers a Rage Release. Couple that with Frost Winds enhanced with the passive that makes it count as direct damage, and the Frost Ultimate that makes Frost Winds trigger 100% when using Frost skills, and you're looking at 5-10 procs per second (even more if AoE hits multiple enemies?).

Dragmageddon is still very useful seeing as how the individual fireballs create overlaps of each other; leaping into a pack results in all of them getting hit for the listed damage multiplied by the number of enemies in the pack.

Currently Anomaly 306, not really breaking a sweat. :)
