Heads up: on my list of planned changes, stuff like magnetic orbs will receive a max stack!
Probably a good idea, seeing as, with 90% CDR, I can summon ridiculous amounts of orbs, and laugh as everything dies by the might of my lightning donut while my FPS drops to 30.
Heh yeah, I will be looking at many ways to keep things good but reduce the visual clutter and the FPS drops..
Im playing a variation of this build. I just stack Magnetic and charge around quickly.
You're right. I just tried it and it does take care of packs considerably quicker, at the expense of taking 2.25x more damage (55% resist vs. capped 80%). But it turns out as long as you don't stand in a pack too long, the additional damage taken doesn't really cause issues, so thanks for remininding me about the fact that a big part of War God's damage comes from Condemnation.
I'll make a new video with my revised build, which I bet looks a whole lot like yours.
I wouldn't say it happens often enough to feel like switching back, though.
Edit: I spoke too soon... even with plenty of stacks they still manage to one-shot me, when there are multple stags charging at the same time.
Edit #2: I replaced +20% hit points with +20% physical resist, from gems, and it looks like all is good now.
Something similar to the reworked Blade Vortex[pathofexile.gamepedia.com] from Path of Exile might be a good way to handle multiple stacks of skills like Magnetic Orbs, where additional stacks proportionally increase damage and decrease damage interval for a single skill instance rather than creating separate skill instances.
Exactly what I had in mind!
