I played Whirlwind barbarian alot in Diablo 3 and played many Cyclone builds in Path of Exile (Cyclone in PoE is like Whirlwind in D3).

If you mean spin around and control your movement while attacking than i must say there isn't same skill like Whirlwind in Chronicon. There are similiar skills but with less control of movement. In example you can attack with movement skill that pass enemys but you can't control it during short animation.

If you mean one button gameplay with attacking while moving around i created Templar build that is similiar to Diablo 3 Whirlwind Barb because it spawn Tornados by attacking monsters with movement skills. There are 3 skills to choose one of them is Slice skill that pass enemys like whirlwind but you can't control it like whirlwind in D3.

Read guide and decide if it's interesting :)

Berserker have too skills that pass enemys like Whirlwind in D3 but you can't control it same way you can control Whirlwind in Diablo 3. Anyway good thing is there are few leap skills for berserker so you can create Leap Barbarian build similiar to Diablo 3 :)

Anyway GAME IS GREAT :) Bought it in 0.4 version and it got alot great updates :) There are alot builds, alot items and sets for every class :) There are Endless Anomalys and Mastery game system if you want level up stats after hitting max level :) Mastery system in Chronicon is ALOT more advanced than game system in Diablo 3 :) There is alot gem types too :) Ofcourse there is interesting rune system :D You can see reviews on steam :) Again game is great :)

Glacial roll with no cooldown and max attack speed is pretty damn close

You can do a leap slam build. I'm having lots of fun with it. Just hold down rmb never bother with any other skills. Works great. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4rl8w6PRJ6Y&feature=youtu.be
A friend bought the game before me and doesn't have any sound effects seemingly anywhere in the game. He gets the music, but attacks and a lot of the spells he uses in the early game has no sound.

Is this just how the game is, or? Doesn't bother me either way but just wondering if his game is bugged.

That's bizarre, every skill I've encountered has a unique sound and animation so far.

It's really strange because every skill in the game have sound.

I forgot what are standard settings for sound but i suggest checking them.

Settings -> Audio Settings

Maybe standard Audio settings doesn't have enabled sound or sound effects volume is set to very low.

Maybe it will help :)

For me 1.0 works fine and i have sounds and music everywhere.

Ah we found the problem, Steam didn't do the first time setup properly for whatever reason. All the sounds work now. :)
