Game does not create folder at %LOCALAPPDATA%
My problem is very simple and very boring.

The game runs properly, I even played for a few hours, but I noticed that when i close the game, the characters would vanish. So I was going to check for the save directory and BOOM, there is actually no Chronicon directory at all.

I don't know if it's the game or my computer, but the game does not create the "Chronicon" directory, at C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local .... very sad.

Any suggestions?

Very odd - try running Steam and/or Chronicon as an Admin and see if that makes any difference!

Unfortunately that didn't solve my problem. Is there anything else I could try?

I'm not sure, it really sounds like a permissions issue if the game fails to create the directories etc. This might sound silly but have you rebooted your PC? If I remember correctly someone had a similar issue that was solved simply by rebooting.

Yes. I rebooted after installing.
If you tought my previous problem was odd.... Now I have an even more odd issue.

The first character I created was lvl 10. And I was playing at full screen mode.
The second time I opened the game I created 2 characters and kept the game at window mode.
Now, sometimes the game loads my lvl10 character randomly, and loads fullscreen setting, and some other times, it opens both characters, and loads the window mode config.
Aaaand, to get even more confusing, sometimes theres no characters at all when I open the game.

I think my problem is my computer... I would aprecciate help to play the game, but maybe this is just not your problem.
Thanks

P.S. There is still no %LOCALAPPDATA% Chronicon directory.
Where are the saves that the game is randomly loading?

This is f***** up xDDD

That is.. indeed very odd :S

Do you have multiple logins on your PC?
Head to C:\Users and check each users appdata and see if you can find the saves in there maybe?

My user is the only one and adm, but I took a look.

There is no Chronicon directory anywhere. Similar stuff have happened in the past with this computer. Of Installing things that didn't really create any folder in the computer.

I have no idea how to solve it, unfortunately.

I feel i'm so close but so far at the same time. xD

Yeah this is pretty weird! I've googled a bit and can't find anything useful.. I guess you can search for Chronicon in the explorer and see if you find any related folders.. or search for your character's names (save files are named after characters).

You may also want to search both before and after starting the game.. in case the directories are deleted or something and Steam Cloud downloads it when you start.

I'm basically just throwing out guesses here at this point :/

try right clicking Chronicon in your library > properties > verify game cache
