Controller - how do I use health and mana potions?

I've figured out moving, spellcasting, and accessing the menus but I can't figure out how to heal or use mana without opening the menu. Since the game in the background doesn't stop while I'm going through the menu, I'm usually dead by the time I navigate to the health potion.

What buttons are used for health and mana, and what do the B1-B4 buttons stand for? If it helps, I'm using an XBone controller. Thanks.

Up is for health, down is for mana, left and right are for other potions equipped to those slots. It should show you on the hud just below your health and mana bar.

Edit: I see now. The 4 buttons represent the 4 directions on the pad. Thanks!

I would imagine the "B" stands for belt like in Diablo where the potions are kept, also you should be able to customize the keybinding for the controller as well, I've never tried though.
