Dancing Blades: Are they supposed to be that dumb?

So I use Dancing Blades and they'll all start doing a fury swipe attack simultaneously on nearby enemies ASAP. Then once the enemy is dead they continue doing the fast attacks for a while vs nothing, and eventually they might stop and move toward another enemy and try attacking there, but by then they're about to desummon wasting their time.

Kinda annoying if you summon them with one standard enemy nearby with a pack of foes a few yards away. It would be nice if they stopped doing that attack once the thing they were attacking dies and there's no other enemies in range of it to re-target onto so they can move and be usefull.

Yeah, they're very stupid, and it does make them kinda useless. Will see if I can change it soon!
