Some help with the Movies please?

I have absolutely NO idea how to unlock ANY of them. I've played through the game 2 times and all i have is the Opening and the End Credits Roll, and nothing inbetween.

Played first as Ujisato Gamo (Retainer start), then second as Tamenobu Tsugaru (Retainer start as well).

I War Banned Ujisato to victory and got nothing, and then conquered Japan as Tamenobu and stil got nothing.

Can you not unlock movies playing as anything but Daimyo? Or is it related to specific clans/Officers?

It depends on the movie some are locked behind clan questlines for example Nobunaga’s marriage is unlocked by playing the Viper of Mino as the Nobuhide and completing the required quests. Others like the incident at Incident at Honnoji and Battle of Sekigahara will happen regardless of player character.

The only movie that requires completing the game as a character is to finish the game as Nobunaga.

Is guide of how to get all the events and movies... its for sphere but it holds up for this game. Normally speaking you will only get movies for if your playing as the clan that is involed in the event for that movie/ some movies you get depending when you started the game.

I would like to add one movie not on the list the Steel God of the Sea which requires playing as Nobunaga Oda during the Battle of Tedorigawa and completing the required quests.The Osaka Campaign movies are unlocked by either playing as Hideyori Toyotomi, Yukimura Sanada or the other Osaka five members for Toyotomi side movies and for Tokugawa play as either Ieyasu or Hidetada Tokugawa, Masamune Date or Shigenaga Katakura (not sure if anyone else counts).
