How to get into Von Urwald's office? *spoilers*

It will be organically opened very near the end of the game and it will be clearly signposted when it's time. You cannot break-in before that designated time.

How do you disarm the trap in the final night? I got an electric shock *after* disarming the trap (trap code: FAILURE). Shawn says, he has to find a way around the door. Is there such a way?
I guess that "failure" here is some kind of foreshadowing: I failed to rescue Joel, made some wrong decisions.

Overall, it took me too long to get strong enough to survive in the catacombs. Neither found my father nor the pirate treasure. Though I got the bad ending I love this game and will do better next time.

You have to look for the "special gift" that the chief thief (or your patron) left you somewhere near his office, as terk mentions right before you go there.

I can't find the "special gift". Where is the chief thief's office? I still have the Lucky Coin, as I've never given it to anybody. I always refused to cooperate with Terk.

In the final dialogue before you get sent to the teachers room to get the black bird on the final night, terk tells you your benefactor left you a present near the teachers room. Search around in the hallway literally right by where the game spawns you in, you'll find it

I'm lost. I seached every hallway, every armour, tree, furniture, etc. There's only the key to the faculty lounge. I found the same items in the faculty lounge as in my earlier nightly visit there. Terk could not tell me anything – he is looking for a new job. I got Terk fired two days before. He can't plague students anymore. I told Urwald about Terk wanting me to spy on him. Then I broke into Terk's office, stole a compromising ledger, and gave it to Urwald. Then I had to choose wether Terk gets fired or has to be more polite.

Weird, I did the same thing but never had say on what happens to terk or anything.

Who gives you the quest on the final night then? I was taken by terk and told to break into the rogue teacher office to get the black bird, and that my patron left me a present by the rogue teachers office. Then I looked through the halls and found and envelope in a painting that gave me a magic key that opens the door after you disarm the trap

Urwald told us in the final class to bring something special tomorrow. I supposed that had to be the raven. When I entered the classroom corridor, Shawn said something like 'now or never, tonight's the night". Then I got the electric shock. My first guess was to search the painting next to Urwald's door (searched the other paintings, too), because Shawn said 'way around the door". I've never cooperated with my patron.

I didn't cooperate with the patron at all either and I never cooperated with terk (though I did bluff him sometimes). I didn't get him fired either because I never got that choice, I just stole the ledger for the teacher and never heard about it.

Then after dinner on the last night terk takes me and tells me my patron is pissed off at me and I gotta go get the raven or be expelled, and then said the patron left a gift for me in the hallway and this was my last chance to help him.

Did you search everything in the hallway outside your classroom?

I found a magic key hidden behind a statue of a bard, just outside the classroom door

Yes, I searched everything in the classroom corridor (and everywhere else). There's no magical key, no envelope, no whatsoever special gift, nada, niente, nothing.

So the message in that case seems to be – if you get rid of Terk, you will destroy your future, unless you are 'Rogue of the Year'. That's not just a bad ending, it's a miserable one.

I'll sneak around a bit to get my stealth up to 100. Then i'll have five stats at 100. Should be enough for the according achievement. I still have to find my father's tomb. After that I'll start over.
