if at the end of a workday, your restaurant budget is negative (meaning you failed to make enough money to pay all your expenses), then it's game over.
To avoid that, try to increase your pizzas' prices a little (not too much, or customers won't be ordering them any more). Also, make sure to restock toppings only when you really need it, and try to minimize your mistakes.
You can check how much money you made (or lost) during your last workday in the results screen[puu.sh].
Next, the so-called "chic factor" denotes the quality (and, to a certain degree, unusualness) of your ingredients, as well as the atmosphere in your restaurant. You can improve it by purchasing better ingredients (for instance, A-quality mozzarella increases your chic factor by 4 points) or by furnishing your pizzeria with useful and neat items your customers will enjoy (such as a jukebox or something more simple like a gumball dispenser).
Try again - better luck will come! :)
