dark angels or space wolves

need help pickign a faction to play. please help me tip the scale. feel free to use any logic you want, obscure battles, actual codex, best looks, etc

to me i love dark angels normally and think the Lion kicks ass as a ultra loyalist (and lets face it with him being only known living pirmach once he heals in the rock he will likely be next emporer), however i have some mates who also want to squad and they rprefer brutal chars. i also like the wolves for look and attitude which is makign the decision hard.

we will only be playing space marine so no need to sell us on orcs/chaos sorry.

feel atm best getting a vibe what people personally feel is more popular and why as don't want to be in too small a faction come release.

Sanguinius fought against Horus to give the Emperor time, even so he knew that Horus would kill him. The Blood Angels are the "only" chapter who uses Apothecarys as elite units, not just as an option for a squad. The Death Company is even "feared" by the Orcs for their savagery to still fight brutally with their hands when their weapons dont function anymore. They have the best Chaplains and can even use Librarian Dreadnoughts (not to mention the Furioso itself). They are the only chapter who actually use wings on their jetpack, looking like angels with (mostly) golden armor. They alone deserve the term "Angel of Death".

Dark Angels: A bunch of team killing robe wearing ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that kill their own allies to hide their heresy. Fun Fact: The Primarch was named after the gay English poet Lionel Johnson. Getting salty with the Space Wolves, Lion got his ass knocked out by Russ.

Space Wolves: 2kool4skool types with good intentions. Protected civilians against the Inquisition which was nice. Sadly being the shoe-horned muh vikings, a lot of greasy neckbeards sperg out about them. Russ is somewhere in the Webway getting turned into a Dark Eldar ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ most likely.

Take your pick.

(I also suggest Blood Angels. They're p. cool even if they're a bunch of pretty boy space vampires. But they're pretty good at it. Flesh Tearers all the way.)

yeah played BA's in most EVERY game, same as ultra marines so kinda bored on them and want to give love to the better factions.

also out of honest curiousity when did the lion get hit by russ? i know the original rift between them was lion punched out russ for mistakign his loling at a silly situation as loling at him and then stole russ glory by capturing a castle. just after heresy lion also stabbed russ right next to heart (swerved last second) because he blamed emporers "near" death on russ detouring on way back to terra. so i get there is ALOT of bad blood between 2 but i was unaware russ got payback.

In short: If you want to be secret heretics that kill your own team to protect your own ♥♥♥♥ up, go Dark Angels. We already got a big Dark Angels outfit if I recall (DAx)

If you want to be a 2kool4skool the codex astartes sucks I have a beard wolf and viking fetish, go Space Wolves.

correct me if im wrong but didnt russ go on a hunt after the heresy and just left for the next 10k years. i thought it was the kan of the white scars that chased the dark eldar into the web way and was never seen again. also as a side note their always guilliman getting out of stasis and walking again assuming his wound heals
