Already is in progress. It's called Eternal Crusade: Resurrection. Complete remake of the game on Unreal Engine 5. It's still pretty early on, but impressive. They even have a build you can play which does capture the feel of it very well. I have a feeling it will get DMCA'd in the future, but hopefully not.

I made Zedek A map's first version for the ECR project along with the thunderhawk when it started, so I already know about it. :)

And indeed very impressive even in its current state, but it is not EC. :(

Games Workshop will file a lawsuit, and since they use Epic Games servers - shutdown 100%

Yea, they aren't Nintendo levels, but they do love to do so. Even Alfabusa who made If the Emperor had TTS was worried and shut it down before anything happened. Really sad that one since he brought in so many new fans.
