thank you for a serious comment. from all the reviews of those games i read that there are mostly not even a handful of choices.. is that really the thing that makes people play visual novels?
ah yea.. thats why 90% of the visual novels have naked girls in it.. maybe if they would make more serious settings with male characters more people would be interested in like skylore said interactive stuff with choices.. but for now its only hentai without sex
Second, this game series has some gorgeous art style. In contrast, most hentais are drawn very very poorly.
But most importantly you might be mixing up the intention of consuming either a bit. I don't actually play the Sakura series to jack off or get some kind of arousal (as opposed to hentais presumably). I simply enjoy the beauty of the (female) characters depicted while following the story. It's like watching a really beautiful nature scenery, except it's female bodies instead of the nature lol.
90% of the ones you're aware of, you mean. There are plenty of VNs without such content, some of which are even on Steam, but they get overshadowed by ones like this.
