From what I can tell they work the same however the Ai's that are made for Elite Dangerous will not work with it if that's what you are after. However if you can get the voice clips you can set it up to do so because Voice Bot can play sounds. Anyway as far as I can tell it seems pretty similar and isn't hard to use. Just a little hard for the windows voice detection to get what you're saying unless you speak clearly.

sounds odd, but the more you practice speaking on the PC, the better it gets at recognizing your speech patterns and rythyms. My PC doesn't like anyone but me speaking lol.

Do you mean like the more you do the training thing or just the more you use it in general?

More training, and yes, the more you use it. It's an algorithm that gets better the more you toy with it. Mine works almost flawlessly, as previously stated. I even throw in some slang time to time and it picks it up 50/50.

Alright that's some really helpful info! Thanks a bunch. I'll try to do the training more and more now. Good luck with looking into this. If there's any info I can grab for you on this program feel free to ask.

So...it is the same? And when you are speaking of VA learning how you speak? I own VA and from what I see it is the same.

Yes from what I can tell it is generally the same there a few differences on the complex level of making commands. However I'm not too sure if you could achieve the same affect through voice bot's macro script.

Bottom line: Basically the same

No i am saying the more you practice speaking to your PC, the more often it will deduce what you are saying correctly. I'm not saying either software does that :P

But it appears the Dev's are skipping this thread, so i fear that they know there is no difference.

Ah! can you give some examples for complex level of making commands>?

I really onyl use VA for space sims (eltie dangerous) for immersion. I have some hard ones where it does docking. And they all talk back to me lol!

See that's why I wanted voice attack but it's easier to get things through steam so I was happy that this came out. Those AIs are super cool iI set one up with voice bot though.

Anyway the complicated thing is how you can make a command know if say the landing gear is already out if you say "deploy landing gear" and then the Ai voice will ask if you want to retract it and you would proceed to give your answer. That kind of thing.

@MonthOLDpickle & Enoxel: With VoiceBot you can script anything you need using VB.net or C# using a "Scripted Action". You can use the Text-to-Speech action as well to have VoiceBot talk to you. Unfortunately VoiceBot (and VoiceAttack) don't have the ability to query the game to see if the landing gear (for example) is already deployed, but I believe VoiceAttack maintains the state internally. VoiceBot can do the same thing using a Scripted Action, I can post an example if that would help, and we'd be happy to help you create any profile macros that you're looking for.

Ya that's what I meant voice attack has like some kind of variable or something to track that I knew it couldn't query the game. I should have explained that better but I would love if you posted an explame of that I have been trying to figure that out.

What..how do I tell it to keep track? So I don't need to macros for raise/lower..just one?

That's what RobotGizmo said he could post an example of and I asked if he could do so. Hopefully he's working on that and will reply soon.
