Infernax
DLC Achievements
"Blow your Trumpets Gabriel" can be done only in Coop (not Swap). Also, "Soldier of the Wasteland" can be done in Swap?
Just to ask: what's your opinion on the new achievements?

Damn, there's Co-op only achievements? That's a shame

I notice there's now achievements for things that could be done previously, as in 'joke' endings like running away or sleeping too much.
Curious that if you've already done those things will the achievements pop on loading the game? Or will you need to do it again.

You can do that one solo, you just need a controller for p2.

You need to do them again

What about "From Vanity to Utility" and "One More Rep" achievements?
New updates for games are nice. I like it when developers care about their games and its content. But I very much dislike new added achievements. I had Infernax on 100% and now I would need to play it again, just for the achievements. Even more worse, some of them are muliplayer based. I don't buy multiplayer games on my 100% achievement account for reason.
As much as I like this game, the new added multiplayer achievements are a bad move.
I just want to know how to get the rep one for the mayor.
Here's a hint: the one more rep achieve can be gotten in solo mode too. It doesn't involve using Cervul at all.

Soldier of the Wasteland can be done in Swap. Vanity to Utiliy can be done solo. I don't understand what to do for Blow your Trumpets Gabriel however. Edit : Ok I got it, you just need to put Alcedor on the shield of Cervul and move, you need a to play with two players like St. Haborym (use controller + keyboard).

Just make him stand and sit several times (by going near him).

There are a lot of "co-op only" actions you can do by using a controller for one player and using a keyboard for the other. You can use the Pavisse to sequence break, and there's an achievement for one instance. It takes a few seconds to set up, but you can hold Up on your keyboard for Cervul, use your controller to jump on top, and then do a boost jump. It seems intentional, as platforms appear when you do it.

You can do all the co-op stuff solo. I've got 100% achievements and I play alone.
It's annoying, but you don't actually need another person.
Well, yesterday i did the achievement that need you to carry alcedor with cervul shield all by myself, in swap mode.
i like the new achievements but i also really like this game and don't mind playing it through a couple more times.

you can use the cheat codes and still get them, right? just do that
What do you do exactly to get the sweating bullets achievement? Thought it was just getting the future ending as a duo.
Can it be combined with Deathhammer? Those are the last two I need.
What about the Wall Chicken one? I have no idea what that one is.
You can absolutely do the "Blow you trumpets Gabriel" solo without 2 controllers or the help of the keyboard. You just need a ledge.

I did mine in Arkos. Just swap to Cervul + Pavise, hold the Pavise upwards and fall (not down+jump, just go straight while holding your shield upwards until you fall from the ledge).

Alcedor should follow you and land on top of your shield, unlocking the achievement.

As for the Wall Chicken, that very name is a hint by itself, if you played old-school Castlevania titles.

For the specific location: it's on Valeshire Keep. There is a certain wall on the first screen after the first fork (going left) that you can break and find a wall chicken.

Cervul's response to the wall chicken is hilarious.
