New Universe Quests not working

I recently made a new Universe to level up a new character made at the same time. When I started going to the npcs at the starter world for quests, the dialogue works but the quest doesn't register on my Quest Bar that normally pops up on the upper left right below character hp and mana. I figured it was a visual bug and proceeded to do the quests from memory. I completed the quests and the npcs' dialogues followed but I didn't receive any exp from completing the quests? I figured maybe my new character or universe is bugged so I proceeded to make a two new ones again and try it out - and again the same thing happens.

If this bugs continue, it will hurt the replayability value of this game as I want to try out a new class but can start from the very beginning in a new universe. Help?

Squires Knoll is a tutorial island so for some reason the devs decided to do it that way with no quest reminder and no reward. It isn't broken.... unless that keeps happening on the other islands too.

Ah yes, it is working on other islands. Thank you! It is a bit weird though that Squire's Knoll's quests don't pop up regardless or register for that matter. But thank you once again!

It’s because you have to toggle the tutorial in the settings, completing it once toggles it off
