In my 20 hours of playtime i've realised how extremely time consuming this storage system is. I'm taking all my time for exploring, trying to gather as many resources as possible before visitting the next island/portal, meaning that i obviously have to go back more often to my house in order to store all those materials that flood my inventory every 5-10 minutes. Since i have a large world, the loading screen times are as expected way longer than usual, i can definitely live with that even if this waiting time stacks up, the actual problem is that i have to visit my chests every 10 minutes around easily, finding the right chests every time for every single item, having those pesky low stack amounts (50 is definitely too low for some items), resulting in chests that take longer and longer to tidy up. Even sorting the chests after categories doesn't save me a lot of time, because of the minimal stack sizes as mentioned before. Some items won't get stacked to eternity, others will result in 3-4 stacks or even more (cotton/silk or similiar materials would be an example). Now, the best solution would be auto-stacking in my opinion, either having a button that puts duplicate items from the inventory to all nearby chests, saving the most time because it solves the problem with just one click. Of course i don't really know how easy this feature is to implement, so maybe having a "auto-stack" button in the chest itself would be the easier variant here. Worth mentioning would be that i'm not even halfthrough the game, meaning that my 10 chests are far away from enough storage for future items. Upgrade-able chests can be useful, but 4 extra slots for a material which i will be strongly lacking most of the time isn't really worth it in this case. Something else, which wouldn't be directly a fix to the storage system but still very useful nonetheless, would be extra inventory slots. Infinite inventory slots or a huge amount would be too much of a luxus, that's not even a question, but an equippable bag which would add extra inventory space would definitely help a lot, 4 additional slots with items like cotton for a bag, 6 slots with silk and so on. I would appreciate any feedback because in my opinion the storage system definitely needs a kind of fix or update, since this is a huge time waste when exploring a lot.
