The knockback on warrior attacks.
As if it's not hard enough playing a warrior. Chasing enemies after every hit is just down right aggravating.

We really need to have an option to disable this or this needs to be removed entirely.

One of the fun parts of the game is using strategy to outsmart the enemy. I believe you are talking about grunts and how they runaway when there life is low. What I did was dig a pit 4X4 two block deep . once they follow you into the pit they can’t climb out and you can finish them off.

No, I am speaking of how every single hit from the warrior knocks and enemy away from you and out of your melee range. This occurs on EVERY enemy except for the occasional large enemy and bosses.

I actually agree with this. One of the reasons I don't play warrior is this. It's way too annoying to bother, so I stick to mages and archers. This should be a power attack, when you hold the mouse button down and release after it charged, then the attack knocks enemy back.

That makes sense, however then we have to spam left click for each swing.

Perhaps holding a key and holding and left click will initiate the charge attack?

Either way, this needs to go. I am shocked this is still in the game after such a long time in development. I hope the devs agree.

Oh, didn't think of it. I was mostly trying to think of a way to not remove it completely for people who like it this way. But yeah, I truely think the standard should be without pushback or restrict it to weapons. Since the adventurer's update, weapons seem to have the same damage value within a said tier, sometimes it's useful to push back, so maybe sword would make it standard light swings without pushback and heavy hammers would pushback. I am not sure, I am just throwing out ideas out there. If any of them would be too complicated to add or not popular enough, maybe just remove the pushback altogether. =)

I've moved the Thread over to our Suggestion Subforum. We will think about it.
Please let us know which weapon you are using, the knockbacks are different per weapontype. Maybe you can also find a weapontype which fits more to your playstyle :)
