SAVE BUTTON!!!! ....Please

Mainly for the consoles....its really aggravating when you have built a lot and you hope that little swirling icon in the bottom corner is doing what its spose to....and when the game desides to crash...or the internet cuts out and the game closes....or the game just closes for no apparent reason what so ever, and all that you have done wasn't saved ..and you have to build it all over again.

I want a save button! the auto save can stay in place. But I want the ability to save the game myself.
It can be put above the back button in the main menu screen....or below it. I don't care where....I want a save button.

Until then, if you really want to be sure you won't lose your work, exit to title screen, it saves your progress. Contrairy wise, if you screwed up and dread trying to fix it, hard-quit/task master out of the game and everything will go back to pre screw up when you go back in.

The autosave thingie doesn't save world, it only saves character currently

Yes I exit to the title screen quit offen (on my Xbox One S) because for some strange reason it likes to crash ....a lot.

Playing on a private dedicated server... I leveled my daughter from lvl 4 to 16 over a 5 hour period. When she tried to exit the game it froze to a black screen at night (unknown to me). I stayed up an hour or so longer and logged out without issue. This morning she logged in and was lvl 4 again. All of the gear, pets, etc. we worked so hard to get was all gone. Research shows that it's an issue with local profile saving on Steam or in the game. Her local profile never got updated during the 5-hour play session we experienced earlier. Am I to assume that the only time our profiles get updates is when we successfully exit the game??? Tell me I'm wrong. Save the profiles at every world change, etc. Hell, every 30 seconds if it prevents what happened to me today. Fix this crap please and thanks.

There are 2 save location
1. non steam cloud
2. steam cloud


Could you check if any of them updated? (#lastmodified)
