You can however make exactly the same thing in Adventure but then it would take longer since you need to gather all materials and that's the only thing that's different between Adventure and Creative, although you have all materials in Creative mode and you can fly around the map, in which you can't do in Adventure.
What if people like to have all blocks and fly around the map and just build, for me it's relaxing to bring creations to life with the restrictions PK has opposed to other games.
If Creative mode is pointless to you then Adventure mode is just as pointless.
Creative mode was a requested feature of many people and thank god this game has it, i still play PK on and off and i think my hours spend in the game are well worth it and most of my hours are from Creative mode, because i just want to build sometime without having to deal with materials, mobs, day / night time.
That's what people mostly do in building games they just show off what they can do and in some games you can build bigger and in other games you cannot.
Why does Creative mode need a purpose like Adventure? can i just show you all what i like to build and maybe you like or dislike it idk.
And for you, be happy you have a choice in what you like best... for you Creative mode is pointless so be happy in Adventure mode if that's more your thing.
We all happy right :D
i play just the creative mode i spent with it 60 hours
but with the normal mode 1 hour

I love the "minecraft adventur feel", but I also love the "everyone has a role/class" thing. Combine them and you have a GREAT game like Portal Knights! :)
HOWEVER... that fun/excitement is *SEVERELY* diminished once everyone has 'finished the game'. That's it. Put it on the digital shelf and never play it again except once every 10 years. BUT...give that game a "Creative Mode" where fans can mod the game or even just create "levels/adventures" that they can then share with others? That's a sure fire way to maintain freshness, excitement and newness for the game forever. As the best example I can think of... "DOOM" (and DOOM 2, Heretic, Hexen; the old games from the early 90's). Guess what? Still going strong! Thousands of different levels, different 'ports' (full mods for the core engine), all open to creativity for those wanting to do it.
Portal Knights would do well to try and strive for that sort of longevity. IMNSHO, they should see if anyone wants to take on that idea and develop a full-on "Portal Knights Creation Kit" for people. This should open up all the necessary guts of the game so that people can make their own, well, pretty much anything; maps, textures, models, animations, classes/races, special abilities, special effects, adventures, NPC's, monsters, cut-scenes, etc.
Portal Knights has been out for a long time now. Pretty sure anyone who's interested in playing it probably have...meaning if someone gets the 'kit' they wouldn't be in for any real surprises. As for "cheating"? Pfft! Really? People paid for a game, let them play it however they want. If they want to "cheat" and give themselves all the special gear so they are nigh-unstoppable and play through it again...let them. Who cares? People can host their own servers and, if the kit was available, allow the host to set restrictions and kick/ban people who break their rules.
Anyway...Portal Knights is one of my games that I play and think "Man...too bad the developers didn't have the guts to open this puppy up for full modding/creating!", and it makes me sad. :(
