Breaking blocks

Hi
Througout the game you'll get different blocks of metal.
I'm talking about the versions you can also craft, which drops from monsters.

Like: copper-plate block, iron-plate block, gold-plate block and titation-plate block.

Is it possible to break down theese blocks to their original components? I don't have much use for 100 titanium-plate blocks and I'd much rather have 100 ekstra titanium bars.

Nope, no current way to do so, and I think it's on purpose.

Their purpose is purely decorative (currently). Whether that'll change in the future, I hope so, but who knows. Maybe if enough people voice their opinions on being able to salvage them, 505/Keen might listen.

Another thing is, how does block crafting work? I noticed when making refined wood that every time I crafted I got 2 blocks, and it wasn't apparent until after I'd hit craft. Is it like this for all the blocks, or do different ones have different numbers?

Farming titanium is tedious work.
I'll bump this thread once in a while, in hope one of the developers will see, and add a feature to break down the plate blocks.

There is a suggestion forum for a reason and most likely the devs will only look there when it comes to gather new ideas and suggestions provided by the community.
