Farming Ore

Hello, got a question and a feedback.

Question: Do ores regenerate with time or I would need to create multiple worlds to collect 9999 of 1 type of ore? (I wont do that, its just for the concept)

Feedback: Would be nice if the game wasnt so grindy. Currently I need over 400 gold ore collected to create 1 set of armor, bow and sword made in gold. I Dont even know if i can find all this without creating another world if the question above's answer is a no.

It's recommended that you play multiplayer if the going gets hard.

its not about it being hard, its about it being tedious.. im stuck in a situation where i have to look around the island for spots of gold and coal i missed, hoping ill have enough to get everything i want. not to mention im planning to make a house made of gold blocks

Im also 1 of the people who cant play multiplayer due to some bug so that option is out the window sadly

in a single universe you should be able to collect all the ore you need for anything, mobs can commonly drop ores the further you progress. Also the islands are alot more verticle than you think. If you manage to squeeze in to a cave system below the surface of the island you can find plenty of ore, I found enough for a full set of armour, weapons and tools (All gold level, working on titanium now) relatively easily just needed to mine under a few dungeons on different worlds

my problem is that i only have 2 worlds that spawns ore when i need like 500-600 ores

sometime go down under island you will see many of gold ore.

I haven't tried it but apparently you can use the same character on multiple "universes". So mine out the current one, and then use your character and create a new world and mine that one out too.

Create a new universe and speed to the island leveled for gold? Take like 50 blue portal blocks with you.
You can then just load the character back to your original universe.

Call the new one "gold run" or something to keep it separate? Would this work?
