Crossplay with PS4?

I asked at the start of the year but now SONY BETA officially has ended is there any ideas from you guys to add that crossplay or is it definitely a no go?
I'd love to play with my friend on PS4 anyway.

Well Last thing I read ( which has nothing to do with Portal Knights) Was the reason there isn't more cross play games is cause Sony is so stingy with its lic. over its cross play tech/coding.

Not mention they want control who and what product is using cross play cause of Sony image to protect.

I'll have to see later if I can dig up the link to the article. but conclusion is don't expect cross play any time soon.

Oh I just remembered supposively the tablet version can play with pc players but tablets need to be on smallest islands to run decent.

I guess someone could try bluestacks on pc but then u mise well buy pc copy.

No, this time last year they introduced a beta for a few games, largely Fortnite. Portal Knights wasn't included when I asked/devs had no plans.
That beta just recently ended last week and so if the developers want to they absolutely can do so now. Same for any other PS4/PC game. I'm hoping Minecraft gets switched over asap too.

Oh ok, yea then my info is old, cause only time i dealt with it was with friends on war thunder years ago, cause they have had it for well over 3 years now or more.

so on another note, I am really getting feeling that they don't care about standalone portal knights that much right now and seems like all focus is on the mmo. which from trailer looks like the same game, small worlds.

Yea it does. But only for the platform its on I believe. Might be different with xbox but not with Sony. I was hoping this game would be one of the few that would do it now theyre allowed but I guess not.
