Remove hacked gold

Hello,

my son joined some open servers and now has 99 million gold on his character (no idea how, probably some hacks or cheats that were installed there).

We don't play games to cheat in them, how can we remove the gold ?

The only way would be to delete the character

Or unhack it

It's sad but it's probably the only way :/ get everything you have that is worth keeping on your character and restart a new one , maybe have some help to pex it.

Or go to a merchant that sells expensive items, buy enough to use all the money and then delete the items...

Best option right here if you do not wish to simply start over.

Curious to know why you assume the gold was obtained server-side cheat/hack though. Rather then the child doing it directly or joining in some high-profit activities on those servers.

In my opinion is the best way for removing cheated coins by using cheats again.

A value editor or hex editor would do it if you don't know how to do that then the above is the best other option buying and deleting stuff the value editing would be the fastest option. You would use something such as cheat engine and locate the value type search for the gold as a value once u locate it you simply modify on hand amounts if I knew where the save games were id say send the save and I could fix it but I havent messed with it enough yet.
