Energy crystals

Is it just me or is this an impossible resource to find? You need so much for upgrading weapons and armor and fighting against the hardcore bosses but I can not find it at all..

Does someone know how I can find this?

Not impossible at all! But definitely not common. You can go to C'thiris temple and break all sarcophaguses there to find some, or sometimes the monsters too.

Some of the dynamic events also give EC on them, usually the ones with a chest. But sometimes monsters drop them too. Another source can also be quest rewards that the NPC's give you, so I also recommend doing those.

They are definitely not uncommon,but also not a cake to find, just have to keep looking.

Edit: One of the best events to farm them is the spider event, if you happen to come upon that, even after you fulfilled the event's objective, you can still remain in the isle killing spiders to try to get more ECs.

What Werecake said is good ways....there is also the small world farming one. Go's like this...
Create new world, make sure its a small world(small ones are easyer to farm) and farm blue piece on the first island by killing the slimes or mining the stone blocks. Then make your way to the island just before the first boss(Garnet Peaks). Having the Arcane Compass is a big help in finding the portals faster. Once you get to Garnet Peaks look for the tower...cant miss it its always there. Go inside and talk to the Guard standing there to get the quest to go kill 5 enemys in the dungeon. Once your done with the quest(he gives you some exp and a Engery Crystal) back out delete the small world and create a new small world...rinse repeat. Takes about 10 to 20 min's (depends on your luck in finding the right portals and not having to backtrack)Less time if you have farmed the blue pieces and a have a huge stack of blue portal stones already.

Also a small update: The new temporary event has spiders outside the house, and they also drop EC's, so that's a very good temporary source of crystals. The event lasts 8 days, so you can farm a LOT of crystals.

i have couple hundred of them, i will trade for event blocks and special glowing blocks and flags and stuff add me
