Can Flammable Liquid be "Cultivated"?

First, I looked up this ingredient on the wiki site, which simply says "can be obtained from peak hip trees". However, I'm not so sure that's true...at least, not in the current verision (1.4.5). The only natural source I've found (aside from some enemy drops) is from the lava pits on volcano islands. I cut down dozens of peak hip plants and never once got flammable liquid. It only only from the small lava pits on the same volcano islands.

So my question is, once I "harvest" a lava pit is there any way to renew it? I was hoping they would pop up on their own (maybe near the base of mature peak hip plants) but that doesn't seem to be the case. It's probably been a couple of weeks since I bought the vacant volcano island and gathered all the flammable liquid from lava pits in the vicinity of the landing pad. I also re-planted all the seeds that I'd gathered. When I returned today, all I have are a bunch of peak hip trees--no new natural sources of flammable liquid.

So it seems that once the natural sources are exhausted, you have to get them from enemy drops (Red Gruntking and Burning Golem). It is true that lava won't naturally regenerate over time, short of regenerating the entire universe? I'm trying to set up a farms on each of the biome worlds, but it looks like flammable liquid can't be obtained in a renewable manner.

EDIT: It actually appears to be the Crustor that drops Flammable Liquid. I still have to verify the Burning Golem. At least I have one reliable source...

You can buy Flammable Liquid from the NPC Vendor(Rigolph the Alchemist) on 3-6 Sea of Stalks at 6 gold a bottle. He has an infinite supply.

Edit: he also has the blazing Berries(before the update they where known as Fire Berries)
And you can move him..

D'oh! I should have known that...since I've already moved Rigolph to my home island. :D I guess I started to overlook what he was selling after the "strong" health/mana potions weren't enough for my lvl 30 character (and I used him mainly for selling my excess inventory). Thanks for pointing that out!

Aside from the matter of being a source of flammable liquid, it would still be nice if there were a way to regrow, buy, or craft a lava pit. If you've harvested them all from a volcanic island before realizing there's no way to replace them, your lava island just lost some of it's visual appeal. (I may have to put something about this in the suggestions thread, assuming it turns out to be the case; I'll keep an eye on my volcano islands for a while first.)

Yeah I would like to make those lava pits myself. I remember a member a while back asking for them to be craftable....one can hope they will add it someday.
